"This was my fifth attempt at writing a song for my nieces. I'm pretty sure the lyrics were to blame for the first four attempts going nowhere. In those demos, the lyrics centered around me trying to pass on useful life experience - they never felt like they hit the mark. Once I changed it up so that the lyrics were instead straight from the heart....well, it all fell into place from there." Paul D
